Dreaming again of farmlife...

Piling in my Dad's '66 two-ton Chevy truck, laughing and giggling as we're all squished inside, we made our way through the bright setting of the sun to our neighbors' farm. The sun's rays were so brilliantly golden and I found myself dreaming once again of living on a farm...

...as well as making "early birthday wishes" for a sweet, orange kitten!! (haha)

Noticing that the truck displays ~65,000 miles, I have a question: is that actually 65k or 165k or even 265k? Just wondering because (like all vehicles of that era) it only reads up to 99,999 and I am a BIG sucker for antique trucks/tractors, hahaha.

Neat! Yes, beautiful truck. The new ones may be bigger/better/faster/safer/stronger, but they just don't make them like they used to... ( ok, I admit, I wasn't around back then haha)

I agree! It seems like EVERYTHING was better 'back in the day.' My little brother is big into trucks & cars as well- this is his favourite vehicle.
