Last night's sunset?

My dad told me just as I was all warm in my PJ's that I should grab my camera and get outside. A little annoyed that I had to get off my butt (haha), I pulled on my boots, grabbed my camera, and joined him on our drive way.

And what I saw made my jaw drop...

What do you all make of that? Wow. I'm wondering if it has something to do with chem. trails or something... I haven't seen anything like this before. It almost looked like a giant rainbow of cloud-- it was a long trail across the sky. Strange, yet interesting indeed.
