More spring shots

So I'm still trying to get used to the new Blogger look so there will be less photos in this post.

I took a walk yesterday after school, relishing in the wonderful smells of spring! It reminded me of the Island I grew up on; the blossoms, the maple leaves blooming, and the lush green grass. If it weren't for the towering mountains beyond the tree line, I would have really thought I was back on the Island.

There was a light, cool breeze that sent these tiny little leaves fluttering. I would have gotten a video, but I suppose I was too busy snapping photos instead.

And spotting the first dandelion of the year? Can I just say that it made my day?

The long and exhausting process of training happy, little puppies to sit, stop biting/chewing, and to fetch a ball or stick has been trying my patience, but I know I want these two sweet things to turn out just as good as our Border Collies.

So, getting ready to head to the dentist and take a looksee at my favorite antique shop, Station 8, to "swoon" over the latest finds.
