I'm not a city person and hardly take enjoyment in taking the trip into town. Shopping literally wears me out and I usually end up with a headache or whatever. But when the day is gorgeous and the weather is just perfect, I find myself smiling despite the crowds in stores and the heat of traffic.
And maybe my "usual" ice cream sundae from Costco adds to that smile... hehe
The view on the drive back home was gorgeous! I feel so blessed to live in one of the most beautiful places in the US.
Well, no Amish Auction-- I'm a little disappointed but there's a 60% chance of rain in Eureka and we just don't have the "gear" to stand out in the rain and watch the auctions take place, look around at the wooden carvings and whatnots... Maybe next year...
