September marks the dusk drawing nearer, the nights getting darker, the leaves changing, withering, then fluttering to the damp ground below, and bold azure blue skies against all different shades of gold. September marks the ending of a hot summer we have left behind and the beginning of a cold winter we are yet to face.
The smells of fall make me smile, even if I feel somewhat uncomfortable in a sweater rather than my favorite t-shirt. I love cold weather. Probably because curling up in fuzzy PJ's and cozy 20+ year old couch blankets is paradise to me.
Okay, that and finding neat ways to capture a moment with my camera.
I have this whole weekend off work! Can you sense how happy and relieved I am right now? No more stress, no more bruises from being bumped around with carts, and no more constant standing on my feet for a whole two days. Ha, I gotta say, although it may be only a short time, it's time I am NOT going to waste one moment of.
So, yes, I am signing off for now.... And if you know me and my love for snapping photos, I just might be back before I go back to work on Monday.......
