The Night Before the Big Event

So this is me, with my thoughtful, dreamy, silently excited look on my face. Tomorrow, after church service, I go into town to pick up my dream camera, the Nikon D3100! Yeah, sure, it may not be a $2000 cam
(and it may be from Wal-Mart..), but it's wayyyy more than a $60 cam!
I am trying (emphasis on the trying, please) to be patient for the rest of the evening. Got off work at 4 and it was sooo nice to arrive home in the daylight! Even though I woke up before anyone in my family did, it was a good day. Just wish I had Monday off as well... Need 2 days off in a row, PLEASE!
But my (favorite) boss is on vaca so my schedule is in the hands of someone else...

One of the worst things about having opening in a grocery store with one of the best bakeries in town is that I have to deal with the wonderful aroma of freshly baked donuts and raisin bread wafting down to my "station" when my stomach is already growling. That and having to listen to the same songs being played over and over in the speakers above my head. But the funny part is most of the songs they play are songs that I've heard spoofs on. So in my head, I'm singing the spoofed version and trying not to laugh-- hoping no one notices me trying to hide a smile.

Okay, I am incredibly talkative tonight, ha ha. I apologize.
There is absolutely nothing better than ice cold water, a comfy mattress, warm slippers, jeans, favorite shirt, messy wind-whipped hair, and my favorite song on replay. Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure I just work for these days off.... Until payday comes along, don't you know...
