Blacks and Whites and HAPPY NEW YEAR

Thought it was about time to post some black and white shots. Had a marvelous New Year's Eve party celebrating my parents' 21st wedding anniversary and the coming of the new year. Hard to believe how fast the year has flown by- but I am most definitely looking forward to what 2014 will bring!

The never-ending holiday season is finally over- now the torture of cut hours and bitter cold nights lay ahead. Is it bad I am already planning summer activities? Ha ha. But we have a long winter ahead of us and I am forcing myself to be content. For it will be summer before we know it.

I hope you all had a wonderful New Year's and God bless!

Lets just say that you aren't the only one who is planning summer projects... I do that all winter.
Was the fireworks shot done with a normal shutter speed?

The firework photo was shot in fast-slow shutter speed, for moving objects, I used the flash (as you can probably see a couple of dust blobs.). I tried a couple of different shutter speeds, but found the one shot in fast-slow had the best outcome.

All photos, unless otherwise stated, belong to me, Cameo. If you would like to borrow a photo or two, please ask me. Thanks for visiting!
