Embroidery + Choc. Oat Bars

Embroidery thread. I love just looking through all of the colours. I love bold colours--especially the navy blue, bright red, and hot pink.

I've gotten back in the " embroidery mood " and have picked up on a shirt I had been embroidering over the winter. I'm hoping on getting it finished before my grandmother comes (less than two weeks!). But we'll see how patient I can be with it.

 And t h i s   r e c i p e ... Oh my goodness, friends! This is a must make kind of recipe. I found this while surfing around on Allrecipes.com and thought I'd give it a try. It turned out most wonderfully and is now a  new favourite of ours, haha. I'm in hopes of getting a tutorial made once we get more choc. chips.  Once again, this is so delicious!

Window frame (project)

I found this old wondow frame behind my neighbor's barn and my sister and I cleaned it up, gave it a fresh coat of paint, and joined my other sister in making posters to fit in the pane spaces.

 There were three glass panes that we couldn't get out so we left them in and, if you'll notice, the SKY frame, music notes frame, and the top left frame are the glass panes. I thought I'd use them to write little Scripture references of quotes with easy-erase markers. (We three girls also cut out posters for Spring/Summer. This is sort of a Fall/Winter collage.) The blank spaces will be filled with old photos.

I'm really looking forward to starting on the next frame...!

Just another one of my projects...



Had left over poster board so I thought I'd get creative and design a cute vintage poster. It's not all the way finished and I'm hoping my dad can make a frame for it.



I added a few of my favorite Bible verses as well and burned around the edges of certain pieces.
