Just Random

last night's supper: my youngest sister made the chicken nuggets, i mashed the potatoes, and mom boiled the green beans. this is our favourite meal.

I found this caterpillar on one of our apple trees while I was looking at a wasp nest. Call me crazy if you want, but I'm still fascinated by the way bees/wasps make their nests....even if I am highly allergic to them, haha.

I haven't been able to take many photos as the weather has been pretty hot. The one day we got rain I just had to take a break and enjoy it. This morning was perfect, though: 65 degrees with the wind blowing...mhm, my ideal summer temperature.

So things are getting busy around our house--mostly full of excitement. Our "Nanny" from PEI, Canada is coming to visit in August!!! We haven't seen her in almost 5 years, so this is going to be a special month with her. I'm looking forward to taking her to Glacier and just sitting down and talking/catching up. I wish the whole family back there could come. Maybe this coming year we'll be able to take a trip up there..... After all, my great-grandmother just turned 94--I wanna see her soon!
