Hello, Winter

Look at this cute little munchkin!

Small family celebration for my 19th b-day. Feeling so loved :)

I love the snow.... now! Haha Waking up at 4 in the morning to get to work by 5 -- in the snow! -- made me a very unhappy camper haha. But having a few days off, I've pushed those thoughts aside and am now back to loving winter all over again. Crisp mornings, thick, foggy afternoons, and gorgeous nights have me captured. And, believe it or not, the sun decided to shine today! Whoo hoo! Major snowball fights have been going underway recently... I may be 19, but hey, gotta have some down-right good fun every once in a while, right? ;)

So I'm enjoying my one day off before I head back for another 3 of work.... should probably get off my rear and do something! Take care friends :)

First Snowfall [2012]

So the the first day of snow was a couple of days ago, and I apologize for not getting these pictures up sooner! To be honest with you, I hated looking out the store doors to see a blizzard picking up just an hour or so before I got off work. The first thing going through my mind was how on earth I will ever be able to haul carts through all of that muddy slush. But the next day (just so happened to be my day off, awesome!) was gorgeous. I poured over my school books until last week's work was caught up and practically just ran out the front door. I couldn't wait to use this new camera of mine! Look at that spectacular quality!! Lovin' it.

Some of the snow has melted, emphasis on the some. I went to work this morning, expecting a slushy parking lot, so I wore my snow boots. Bad. Idea. The parking lot was completely cleared. So I had to lug those boots o' mine around the whole store. Not. Fun. I felt like Bigfoot.

So glad I get tomorrow off! I love being able to sleep in and just spend the whole day doing school. Yep, I'm not your regular teenager...

Anyways, less than two weeks until I (officially) become an adult! Dreading it and anticipating it all at the same time. The family asked what I wanted to do, and I have made up my mind to go try out the Mexican grill in town. I miss the amazing Mexican restaurants in Alabama... That's really the only thing I miss about Alabama... Wow...

Well, be back probably tomorrow-- depending on how much free time I have to take pictures. -----Cameo-----
